At Boys & Girls Clubs, we allow kids and teens to explore their interests and passions, develop their employability, and apply their knowledge to real-world work experiences.
Program Impact
Millions of young people face an uncertain future and competitive job market. Boys & Girls Clubs help young people stay on track in the midst of change. From an early age through high school, supportive Club mentors provide opportunities to explore careers and prepare youth with employability skills for future success. Clubs also connect teens to real-life work experiences such as internships and apprenticeships.
Workforce Readiness Programs
diplomas2Degrees (d2D), a college readiness program, provides a range of services to guide Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success.
CareerLaunch prepares teens for the world of careers and work. Through CareerLaunch, Club teens 13-18 years old embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work.
Money Matters: Make it Count teaches teens how to set goals, budget, save and invest. In addition to staff-led financial literacy sessions, young people practice their financial decision-making skills through fun, engaging digital tools and games.
Transfr is a work-based learning curriculum that helps individuals find pathways to well-paying careers. Includes career awareness, career exploration, career preparation, career training, and career placement.
YouScience is an aptitude-driven college and career readiness program designed to meet compliance requirements and drive meaningful student impact.
Up Next is a comprehensive work-based learning program that provides teens with work experience right in the Club, where they can learn and practice key employability skills. Participation puts teens at the front of the line – or “Up Next” – for desirable placements in the workforce.
Level All provides expert guidance and powerful tools that help youth achieve their goals in college and career planning, financial planning and success.
ZSpace is virtual learning immersive tech that brings STEM to life to help youth with career and technical education and workforce development.
